Product: Two models of unbranded angle grinder chainsaw disc sold via eBay

Hazard: The products present a risk of serious injury or fatality as the attachments are not designed to be used with an angle grinder and can lead to loss of control, causing the blade to cut the operator or nearby person.

Corrective action: The listings have been removed by the online marketplace (eBay). We recommend owners stop using the product immediately and contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress.

These products present a risk of serious injury or fatality as the attachments are not designed to be used with an angle grinder and are likely to cause loss of control which could result in serious injury or fatality. Reports have been received of injuries arising from kickback caused by the angle grinder gripping the cutting surface and forcing it to sharply turn or jump out of the hand of the operator.

These grinder chain discs do not comply with the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
